What should I include in an appreciation letter to my employees?

They recently did a terrific job despite a lot of obstacles.

Be brief and to the point. Say what you said here: they did a terrific job in spite of the obstacles. Assure them that their hard work was noticed and thank them for their contributions. Send each one a personal letter, and sign each one.

Give kudos to those who went above and beyond the call of duty, and say what they did that was so good so that others know what the appreciated actions were.

A thank you letter has to be specific. Describe the obstacles and what your employees had done to overcome these obstacles and challenges.
