What should I do if my starter earring won't come out and my cartilage is bleeding?

It could mean that your hole is infected. Sometimes if the earring gets stuck it means there is a scab that has grown around the hole during the healing process. Your best bet is to leave it alone and go to the doctor or wherever you got it pierced.

Anytime you have a problem or question with a new piercing you should visit the place where you had it done. They can give you further advice.

If it won't come out that means it wasn't pierced correctly and is now infected. Go to the doctors they will give you antibiotics, go before it gets worse.

Sometimes the skin grows over or around the earrings and a piercer will have to cut the skin to get them off. If the cartilage is bleeding, it is probably infected and you should go back to the piercer anyway.

You should start taking antibiotics and apply a local treatment, also with antibiotics. Then you should try to remove the earring or if you don't succeed, go to the doctor.
