What should I do if my rat get nose bleeds?

Your rat most likely isn't having nose bleeds and instead has red colored mucus discharge. The discharge is called porphyrin. It's most often caused by respiratory irritations. Try changing the bedding and cage accessories. An actual nose bleed would indicate a fatal illness, consult a vet if this does happen.

One or two nosebleeds might just be a sign that your rat is breathing dry air. If the problem persists, though, see a vet.

Take your rat to a qualified exotics vet (one who has experience/certification in rodent care). Rats are so small that any blood loss is dangerous - especially from the head.

If it is actually blood then it could indicate a respiratory infection, which is something that requires antibiotics. However rats also produce a red substance called porphyrin, you may also notice it around the eyes. It is much like mucus or "snot" in humans and is not abnormal.

Rats are known for having resperatory problems and this disadvantage is hightened when cedar bedding is used. Always use only one hundred percent pure pine bedding. The dust from cedar bedding makes it hard for the rats to breathe and it will cause nose bleeds. If after switching beddings the nose bleeds continue, call a small mammal veteranarian.
