Your best option in this case would be to visit your doctor to determine the source of the pain and what can be done to correct it. It could be something as simple as having a foreign object inbedded in the skin or something as complicated as bone spurs growing on your heel.

If you think you have injured it, stay off your foot, keep it elevated, and apply an ice pack for two days. Take an anti-inflammatory, too. If the pain does not improve substantially, you should see a doctor, as you may need an x-ray to determine the cause of your pain.

You can soak your heel in a small tub of warm water with some epsom salts in it. You can also apply cream pain medication, or see a doctor.

First, make sure to keep off your feet for the time being. Apply an ice pack and wear shoes with high shock resitance. Also wear heel cups or extra insoles for more support. Most of all just stay off your feet as much as possible till the pain is gone
