If your dog's temperature is dropping, you should go to an emergency hospital. A healthy dog should be able to regulate its body temperature and stay warm. Dehydration, malnutrition, anemia, and shock (to name a few) are conditions that would cause a low temperature. It can be very serious.

You should take him to a vet immediately. Dropping temperature is never a good thing in a living being. Hopefully you will get the dog there in time.

If the temperature is too low then place the dog in a warm bath to keep him warm and take it to the vet to make sure that the problem is not life threatening. If the temperature goes too low then the animal can die from hypothermia and that should be taken care of quickly.

The only thing you can really do if a dog's temperature is dropping is to call the vet. It could be a sign of shock or illness.

Number one is to get the dog warm to bring up that temp. A heating pad, blankets or lay the dog on something soft and lay it in front of a heater. Give the dog something to drink that it loves, water, milk whatever and do same w/food.
