What should I do if my dog ate a dirty diaper?

The diaper material could swell causing an intestinal blockage requiring surgery. Take the dog to the vet if it has lack of appetite or trouble passing feces.

I'm pretty sure he'll be okay. If he is exhibiting any signs of sickness, take him to the vet. In the future, don't leave diapers out for him to munch.

Keep a better eye on your dog in the future and NEVER leave ANY diapers or anything made of plastic lying around where the dog can get it. The dog could eat the diaper and then have it obstruct his bowel. If your dog shows signs of being sick get him help right away.

You should keep a good eye on his stools for a few days, he should be able to remove it himself. If not you should take it to the vet.
