What should I do if my Chevy Blazer bogs with a sudden throttle?

Check the air filter. If it is dirty replace it. Also check in the intake tubing for any debris that could get caught in the filter or throttle body. Also check to make sure all vacuum lines are fully attached.

Check for broken or cracked vacuum lines. Check spark plugs and plug wires and replace if needed. Clean and service air cleaner. Spray WD-40 around throttle body and manifold. Listen for changes in RPM's. If there are changes then you may have a bad gasket in the throttle body of plenum that needs to be changed.

Check your fuel system. This is a common sign that the engine is being starved for fuel. Check all the components in the fuel system.

Check to see if your car simply needs a tune up. If not, other things to check would be your fuel filter or fuel pump.
