Seek medical attention right away. BP that becomes too high can result in stroke and the prognosis of BP that is too low isn't great either.

If you feel giddiness or weak (symptoms of blackout), just lie down straight. Then, lifting your legs could be helpful in sending more blood to your brain and heart.

Hypotension, also know as low blood pressure is caused by your blood pressure during/after each heartbeat being lower than normal. This means vital organs are not getting adequate amounts of blood. Often hypotension in healthy individuals requires no treatment however it's best to visit your doctor to ensure there is no underlying serious health problem.

Have your doctor confirm if your pressure is high or low. If high, medication is necessary to control it. If low, add more salt to your diet to raise it.
