You should call a local vet that specializes in ball python and possibly have it looked at. They may tell you that its food has too much fiber in it and to change the food. If you can not find a local vet there are chat rooms on the web that can put you touch with people.

Is the poop otherwise normal? There is no such thing as pooping too much. Whatever an animal or a person puts into their body has to come out at some point. As long as the poop isn't a way different consistency or bloody or anything like that, there is nothing to worry about.

The amount of feces should be related to the amount the snake eats. A temporary change in the amount but not the quality of the feces may indicate complete digestion.

If it is having diarrhea then it might be sick. If the stool is normal looking you may just be feeding it too much. Check the feeding guidelines on the internet.

Often times excrement is the result of eating, unless of course the stool in question is of a different consistency than the norm. A vet could better assess the situation.

Your snake may be pooping too much because you are feeding him too much. If your snake is an adult he actually needs less food than when he was younger.

You are feeding your python too much. You should reduce feeding to once per week. It probably does not mean that your python is sick. Your python just needs a new feeding schedule.
