Hopefully you saved a copy of everything you sent from the product you requested a rebate from, as this will make it significantly easier. Either way, you should contact the company, with the reciept it will be easy simply explain you have a copy of everything and ask what to do, without it, play up your value as a customer.

If you are referring to an Internal Revenue Service (IRS) rebate check, check their website, irs.gov or contact the IRS office nearest you. Either should provide the needed information.

First, be absolutely sure you did not get the rebate check already! Review your checkbook deposits. If you truly did not receive the rebate, contact the government agency that should've issued the check. Find the phone number for the agency; do a search to locate it.

As long as it's within a year or two, it should be too late to cotnact the company and follow up.

If you have not yet received your rebate checks and it has been over 8 weeks since you filed your taxes, you should contact the Internal Revenue Services. It should not be too late to track down your return.

You need to contact the people you are supose to recieve a rebate from. If it is from the government and envolves taxes please contact your CPA or accountant. If it is from a particular company, like JCpenney, please call and contact them. You should be able to get back the money that you are entitled to.
