Well pain is to be expected after any surgery. However if you have serious concerns about the pain I would contact the doctor and express your concern.

Expect a moderate amount of pain for the first week after this type of surgery. Your doctor should have prescribed pain medication and perhaps antibiotics to reduce risk of infection. Remember for the first 4 weeks no lifting or reaching with the arms, and maintain a calm environment.

If you are experiencing pain, you need to see the doctor that performed the surgery. I had breast implants and there was a small amount of pain for 24 hours. You should not be experiencing severe pain. Your body could be rejecting. Get this checked immediately. Your doctor will be able to help you.

First I would contact my doctor for pain medication. You also can use hot/cold therapy, which is cold for 20-30 minutes, then heat for the same, nothing then.

Definitely go see your plastic surgeon, as it could be a number of different things. Capsular contracture is one thing which is common, and worse case scenario (although certainly not probable), is that there could be a problem with the implant. Remember though that after a few days of having the procedure, some pain is normal.
