Dial 911 immediately. Explain your condition and stay on the phone with the dispatcher until help arrives. It is imperative to remain on the phone until help has arrived and they will then talk to the dispatcher and give you the medidal attention that you need. Dialing 911 is imperative.

I would consult a doctor immediately and take some pain reliever such as alleve or asprin. It could be something very such as a blood clot or a heart problem.

If you are having chest pain you should contact your doctor or go to the emergency room for diagnosis and treatment. Some causes of chest pain can be life threatening include heart attacks, pneumonia and pneumothorax.

While sharp chest pain may be due to a minor ailment, there is a very real danger that you are having a heart attack. You should go to an emergency room immediately in order to be checked out. If you don't think that you can drive, call an ambulance. Your life may be in danger.
