Write a letter about everything you've been through and how much you love him. Plan a romantic candlelight dinner. Cook your favorite meal and have him assist you in the kitchen. Create a CD with all of your favorite slow songs and play them during dinner. Read the letter to him after dinner and toast with champagne together.

Traditionally the 25th. anniversary symbol is silver. You may want to consider buying him a nice silver watch and have the date or a sentiment engraved on it.

Consider a ceremony for a renewal of vows. This doesn't have to be as big and fancy as a wedding. Have the family and close friends come, as much of the original wedding party as possible, and have an officiant recite a renewal of your promise to stay together forever.
