Do not use anything that you would use for an adult cat. You can wash them in a sink, use Dawn Dish Washing Soap. This will suffocate the fleas, use a flea come to pick as many fleas you can off the kitten. If needing to repeat.

Obviously don't put flea collars, powder or spray on a young kitten. Do not bath the kitten, that's the mothers job, she could get sick or discouraged from properly caring for the kitten. If you have a tough flea problem, isolate all cats in a small play area with ceder chips. Fleas hate ceder chips. When possible, hand remove fleas.

There are specific products you can buy that are specially made for kittens under 8 weeks old. It is important to treat fleas quickly because they can affect the health of your kitten left untreated. You can take the kitten to the vet to have it checked out and get suggestions of appropriate products.

Yes, I have seen "kitten specific" flea products at WalMart and also online. I would pick them off with tweezers! First get the kitten wet. It's gross but works.

Kittens under 8 weeks are too young for topical ointments. Fleas shampoos can also be dangerous. It is best to give the kitten a warm bath using Dawn dishwashing soap.

Put on some thick rubber gloves and give each one a flea and tick bath. Then you want to flea and tick bomb your home.
