Preventing toe blisters before they happen is the best advice. Using a lubricant on areas where blister can occur is one way to prevent blisters. Petroleum jelly and some sports cremes are common lubricants that can be used. Wearing socks that create less friction is also another tactic to reduce blisters.

Put a special band-aid on it and do not pop it. Popping the blister could cause an infection of occur so place a band aid on it and wait until it goes away. There are special band aids for blisteres that can be used that stay in place longer than normal ones.

The Blisters and the area surrounding them should be kept clean by washing them with a warm antibiotic soap and if it is possible stay off of the feet for a few days to allow them to heal while wearing clean cotton socks. Broken blisters shoul also be washed frequently.

First, try to refrain from walking on the affected toes; if you must, wear sandals with socks. Second, do NOT pop the blister: this can often cause infection. Drug stores sell cheap blister kits--this is the best way to soothe and cure them. Try those!

Blisters could appear due to a variety of reasons. Blister toes are common though. Never try to stop the blisters. Go for a thorough wash and put a wound bandage around them. It should prvent any infection which may worsen the blisters. Regular cleaning and repeated wrapping with bandage will protect it from infection
