You could try taking a hot shower and breathe in the steam. I've had luck with heating up a wet rag in the microwave and holding it over my face and breathing in. You can also take a sinus decongestant, it will help with the pressure.

For the pain take some paracetamol or ibuprofen. In the meantime do some steam inhalation, use some xylametazoline nasal drops and also take an antihistamine like cetrizine. If these fail to clear up the sinuses and you still feel a lot of pain an ENT surgeon may do a minor surgical procedure and add anibiotics.

If your sinus is blocked then you should start by taking some medicine prescribed by your doctor. Try blowing your nose or taking a really hot shower.

See your doctor to determine if you have an infection of your sinuses. It is also possible that you have nasal blockage due to allergies. A sinus infection may require antibiotics. If not, go to a pharmacy and purchase a Neti-pot. Follow the directions. It can provide remarkable relief.

The easiest and by far the most common is to simply buy over the counter antihistamine medicine, usually in pill form, from your local pharmacy or supermarket. If the condition does not improve you may need to see a doctor so you can obtain prescription medicine.

Add five drops of eucalyptus essential oil to a bowl of steaming-hot water. Drape a towel over your head and the bowl. Breathe deeply for 5 to 10 minutes.
