Spider bites can cause any number of problems from swelling to severe allergic reactions, a vet visit is required and usually a steroid will be administered to reduce any swelling. Antibiotics may also be administered depending on your vet. For less serious insect bites that result in simple swelling Benadryl is usually prescribed based on your dogs weight.

First step is try to remove the venom by ensuring that the wound bleeds. Apply some antiseptic cream and immediately consult your vet. He may advise you to clean the wound daily and might prescribe some antibiotics.

While a lot of bites are attributed to dangerous spiders, it's not always what you think it is. If you suspect your dog's been bitten by a hobo spider, take it to the veterinarian immediately. There are no home remedies to deal with this issue.

If your dog gets bitten by a hobo spider, your dog might get poisoned. Take your dog to the vet and have him get the necessary shots if that were the case.

It is not much poisonous but infectious sometimes. It is better to take that dog to a veterinary hospital and give a dose of antibiotic.
