Three things to do about shedding - brush, brush, and brush! Good grooming is key. But making sure the dog is parasite free and on a good food also helps.

To minimize the shedding you have a few options, first you can get it regular haircuts to minimize the loose hair, secondly you can invest in a good brush like the "furminator,"and brush regularly. Unfortunately, dogs will shed no matter what the best you can do is minimize it.
