Take the cat to the vet immediately. The cat may be having an allergic reaction to food, fleas or an outdoor allergen, such as pollen or ragweed. The vet will determine the cause and prescribe either an antibiotic or steroid injection.

Your cat could have an allergy to something. Flea allergies often give cats these symptoms. Some cats also react to drugs or food with these symptoms. A food allergy can take years to show up. The vet can advise you.

This is a normal thing for all cats to do and so you will not always have to worry. If this is a long-term problem for your cat, you will want to consult your veterinarian. There are many possibilities for causes of sneezing and runny eye and thus the treatment in these serious cases varies.

It sounds like kitty might have one of three things: allergies, a cold or an infection. With my cats, I usually give them a couple of days to clear whatever issue they have on their own if it doesn't seem serious. If the problem persists, they go to the vet.

Upper respiratory infections are very common in cats. If your cat is eating, drinking, and using the litter box, you should not be concerned.

If this goes on for more than a couple of days or if your cat has any other symptoms a visit to the vet is called for.
