Talk to their dentist. Avoid general anesthesia if possible or ask to be in the room while your child is under. Discuss the procedures before going to alleviate fear.

Get them filled. Cavities can lead to more serious problems, such as pain, sensitivity, and infection. It might also affect the permanent teeth as they come in.

Defiantly take your child to a Pediatric Dentist as soon as possible to get the cavities fixed so that the permanent teeth do not get damaged.

Take them to the dentist to have the cavities filled, as they could lead to gum damage. Make regular appointments with your dentist and ensure proper tooth cleaning habits.

Are you sure they're cavities? They'll need to be treated under general anaesthetic as 2 is too young to sit in a chair for treatment. Also, you need to change the child's diet / habits to prevent future cavities. You, the parent are responsible for this!!!

Actually, genetics play a big role. My 2 year old has been brushing with flouride since she was 1. She was off the bottle at 11 months old and has a good diet and eating habits. Parents are not always to blame, get your facts straight!  add a comment

Work on getting your baby off the bottle. When you do give your baby a bottle at night only put water in the bottle. This will prevent the sugars from milk or juice from sitting on your baby's teeth all night. You should also get your child to the dentist to get caps on it's teeth.

A two year old child with cavities should have the cavities filled. Subsequently, a diet with less sugar should be adopted and the child should receive much guidance with proper brushing techniques.

I know this is hard but I would try to work with your 2 year old to get better dental hygiene habits. A pediatric dentist might have more and better suggestions but I would work on really brushing the teeth well and limit the sugary foods and drinks.

First, cut back on sweets and juice to slow their growth. Second, brush their teeth much more often. Last but not least, get the cavities filled to avoid them getting worse.
