First, you should investigate the situation. Where did the money comes from and what kind of source? Call the bank and speak to a representative for further answers concerning your account. If a representative can not solve your problem, ask to speak with a supervisor.

As tempting as it is to keep it, you should alert the bank to let them know of the error. If you don't, you could end up in legal trouble.

You need to inform your bank of the error. They are likely to catch the mistake eventually, anyway, and there may be penalties if you use the money, particularly if you know that it is not yours.

Personally I would inform the bank that there is an error. Ask them to investigate the correct who the correct owner is and return it.
