Your low iron is caused from you bleeding out in your large intestine. You need to get checked by a doctor immediately, this is probably something serious.

See a doctor as soon as possible. The problems are most likely related. A stomach ulcer is just one problem that can cause both of these symptoms. Having low iron can cause other problems in addition to what you have already.

Blood loss can result in low iron. Anemia (low iron levels) and frequent, dark red bloody stool is always serious and should be investigated further by your doctor.

Yes, but the blood in the stools should be examined. Seek an appointment with a GI doctor to evaluate why you have blood in your stools.

Low iron levels accompanied by bloody stools can be an indicator of bleeding in the lower intestines. This is serious as it can lead to colon cancer and other forms of diseases. You should have a complete blood testing performed by competent medical personnel on an annual basis to insure you are not suffering from colon cancer.

You need to get to a doctor and get a proper diagnoses. They are the only ones that can tell you if they are related or how to treat them together or seperately.

This is related. Blood in the stools will cause you to lose iron over time. This may lead to iron deficient anaemia. You should get it checked out because it may be sign of bowel cancer. Blood in the stools is a mid-late sign for it so it's important to get it looked immediately.

They're probably related, since your body is likely losing more blood from what's going into your stools than your diet is providing enough iron to replace. You really need to figure out why the blood is there before you can do anything about it, because different causes require different responses. You should probably contact your doctor.

Well if there is blood in the stool, it is not good for you. Yes it is related. You need more fiber in your diet. You need to eat iron rich foods.

If you have not been to the doctor about this condition then you need to go and get a check up. This can be very serious.

Probably, you are taking some medicine which creates constipation. As the stool become hard, blood will be seen in the stool. Take lot of fruits and green leafy vegetables. For iron defficiency, take 2-3 dates daily, regularly, which is rich in iron. Both problems are not interconnected.
