What should I do about an aggressive pekingese?

Pekingese are stubborn and jealous dogs. They are one-person dogs and loyal to their owner. Obedience training would benefit them at an early age.

If you have not already, spay or neuter your dog. This will remove hormones contributing to aggression. Small dogs are often aggressive because they are not properly trained. Obedience training will stimulate your dog mentally and physically. Be sure your dog gets plenty of exercise. Both will help relieve stress and make your pet happier.

Pekingese have very strong personalities and become aggressive with people, other dogs,and children that are not part of their family. Obedience classes provide exposure to other dogs and people and also teach the owner to gain and keep control of their dog.
