Rats are made an important role in the European history. Rats are the main reason for spreading plague. So a few of rats are actually spread the plague and other rats are duplicate ones. After effect of plague is very dangerous. So people think that destroy of rats is the only way for avoid plague. Another matter is this illness causes to number of death.
