There are a number of pollutants released during fuel combustion. Based on possible impurities in the fuel and what the fuel source is, different Sulfur-Oxide compounds can be released, as well as different Nitrogen-Oxygen compounds. The main pollutants we observe, however, are Carbon Monoxide, that are caused from incomplete fuel combustion, and Carbon Dioxide, a common product in combustion.

Depending on the type of fuel, and the completeness of the burn, pollutants such as carbon ash, carbon dioxide (if you consider it a pollutant), nitrogen dioxide, carbon monoxide. In coal burning other items such as uranium, radon, and mercury are blown into the atmosphere.

Fuel like oil and coal contain hydrocarbons. When it burnt, some pollutants will be produced. For example, carbon dioxide (if oxygen is enough) or carbon monoxide (not enough oxygen). Methane or other alkanes.

IF you mean gasoline, then there are a few greenhouse gases produces. They are primarily carbon dioxide and carbon monoxide. The first is a greenhouse gas and the later is toxic to human beings as it bonds to the hemoglobin of the red blood cell.
