Use ceiling moldings purchased at a hardware. They come unpainted or in white. You can just shellac the unpainted ones or paint them to match the molding in a room. If you pick the real ornate ones, you can paint them gold or silver. You can frame with plywood and glue sea shells, beads, or my favorite: small glass tiles.

a good frame for a mirror is a wood frame with some design in it's edge because it would always elegant to look at a mirror with wooden frame and see it with curve design in it. so much classic design would fit a mirror. In our country we always use wooden frame for a mirror.

You can really use anything to make a frame for a mirror, especially if you are a handy person. Try wood, plastic or rubber for a regular mirror frame. If you want to get really creative, you can try something a little out there, like a frame out of popsicle sticks!
