A Greek revival house requires columns and a pediment. They are usually made of cut limestone or cast stone. Google Greek temple to see images of columns and pediments.

Essentially, a building that is "Greek Revival" contains elements of Ancient Greek architecture. Examples include huge columns, broad moldings, over-sized proportions, giant entryways, narrowed windows, and gabled roofs. The style became popular in the mid 1800's.
