It totally depends on how they have been raised some are great and some leave alot to be disired but I do know when they are young they require alot of training.

Borzoi's have a hound temperament, don't do well with small pets. They are fast and tend to "hunt" so be careful, they require leashing. They are independent and not always openly affectionate. While they don't do badly with children, they don't enjoy roughhousing. They're not effusively playful like a Lab.

Borzoi are polite, elegant, independent and athletic dogs that don't bark much or demand loads of attention. However, they are easily stressed and won't tolerate rough play, making them best suited for homes without small children. Additionally, they have a tendency to chase small animals (including cats), need tons of exercise, are difficult to housetrain, and can be stubborn.

Borzoi are excellent dogs. They are loyal and courageous, very fun and active as well. Extremely friendly and lovable. Keep in mind if you live in a city this might not be the right dog for you. They tend to need open places to run because that is what they were bred for.

Borzois are generally very sweet, intelligent dogs who like to be couch potatoes. They are Sight Hounds so you'd need to be cautious with the dog around small animals.

It is a gentle and devoted companion. Proud, gentle and alert they are not of your good watchdog. To avoid homes with other animals or children. Attention quickly they suffer from loneliness. It is an intelligent dog, sensitive and independent.

A great breed with children as they have a calm demeanor and sweet temperament. They are a gentle, loving companion and a well-behaved, quiet member of the family. It is also an excellent therapy dog to make rounds to hospitals and nursing homes. The Borzoi is not a watch dog.
