Kindergarten math will include things like counting and and drawing the numbers 1-10. For example, you could show your son 4 apples and expect him to be able to count them from one to four. Basic addition/subtraction, is often done by example (for example, a row of 4 apples and a row of 2 apples exemplifies the concept 4+2=6)

Kindergarten math includes counting and very basic math functions. The student should know how to compare groups, such as which group has more items than the other. The student should also learn to count to 30.
