What kind of furniture should I get for an LCD?

I would recommend purchasing a "lowboy" cabinet. These are usually sit low and longer than they are deep. If you choose one that has shelves or drawers you can use the added space to for additional electronics.

Presuming that you mean a LCD/Liquid-Crytal-Display computer-monitor/television? LCDs are generally lighter/top-heavier than CRTs/Cathode-Ray-Tubes, so you could get lighter-furniture. But you are better-off securely-mounting the back/base so they do not fall.

The kind of furniture you would get for an LCD would all depend on the room you're putting it in and the style of said room. I myself had a more modern look and I simply have my hanging off the wall with no real furniture.

You can buy an LCD tv stand at furniture stores or large department stores. The stands are built especially for LCD televisions.
