Most commonly it is called Ich. Which really covers a host of parasites that can grow on your fish. Sometimes you will mistake nuptial tubercles for a fungus. Only the male fish get these on their head, body and fins. They look like hard white pimples about the size of a pinhead and look alot like ich.
