Women with a full bust line look better in a v-neckline. It opens up the chest area and gives an illusion of length rather than width. Round faced people and those with short necks also look better in a v-neckline. It makes the face and jawline look slimmer.

A V-neckline is universally flattering, but it is especially flattering for women with square or round faces, because it can elongate the face. V-necklines are also very flattering on women who are large busted (it minimizes and flatters the bustline) and those with broad shoulders, because it draws the eye downward.
