What kind of development can I expect in a 15-month-old?

A 15 month old should be beginning to speak and say a few words.. momma, dadda, dog, cup, etc as well as walking. If they are not walking yet, they should be close. They should also be able to follow simple commands such as bring me this or take this over there.

By 15 months, they should definitely be walking, socializing with you and friends, and be able to count and do the alphabet.

At this age a child is a virtual sponge , they are capable of learning most anything from potty training to a foreign language.

A fifteen month old child should be able to walk. They should respond to their name. They should know at least 15 words. They should be able to point to what they want.
