Most Aztecs wore a type of rectangular loincloth to cover their genitals, and they also wore sandals. Some low status individuals would have gone barefoot. Women would wear a type of loose blouse and a skirt made from cotton. Men would often wear a cloak or a cape. The cloth they used was dyed various colors.
