What kind of circuit breaker does a Trane heat pump need?

Referring to just the heat pump but not the back-up heat in the air handler. A good rule is 1. 5 hp per ton times the tonage for a total hp divided by 746 for the total watts. This is divided by your supply voltage of 220, which will tell you the amp draw. Allow 10% head room.
