Lots of insects after they bite can cause a red knot of swelling. IT is caused by an allergic reaction to the bite. IT can be a spider, wasp, ant or jsut about any kind of insect depending on your allergic reaction to it. If the bite doesn't go down in a couple days then you should seek medical attention.
