I can't really force food into my fish.

Always be sure to not overfeed your pet fish. A gold fish can go an entire week without food and still be considered healthy.

Among ornamental fishes, gold fishes requires special care. Your gold fish may have a fungus insfection. Put some ordinary salt in your aquarium and see how it works.

Goldfish normally don't each much food, but it can be because of improper temperature or fluctuating in the aquarium too.
