What is trichomoniasis?

Trichomoniasis is a common sexually transmitted disease that is a microscopic parasite called Trichomonas vaginalis. It is treated with the prescription drug called metronidazole. Trichomoniases is said to affect more than 8 million people each year. It is more commonly found in sexually active women who have multiple sexual partners.

Trichomoniasis is a STD (sexually transmitted disease) caused by a single celled parasite.Men are usually infected in the urethra area, which sometimes causes it to burn when you pee. Women get a painful vaginal infection that may develop a foul odor. Both partners must be treated.

Trichomoniasis is a vaginal infection,caused by a sexually transmitted parasitic organisim.Males can contract this diesies from females already infected and can pass it on to their current mate.

Believe it or not, trichomoniasis is actually a sexually transmitted disease. Your girlfriend is probably angry with you because she could be assuming you had transmitted the disease to her.
