First visit the cathedral because the town was built around it, then also check out the Flag Fen archaeological site, Museum and Art Gallery, Peterborough United Football Club (The Posh), Burghley House, Longthorpe Tower ancient monument, and the Nene Valley Railway where you can take a scenic tour of the country side. Stroll around the Old Town, too.

There are plenty of historic places to visit there including the Church of St. Peter, Peterborough Cathedral, and Burghley House. There are also several museums and art galleries. There is a large park with several lakes and a conservation area.

When visiting Petersborough, I would suggest going to the cathedral of St. Peter/Paul/Andrew, the Peterborough Art Museum, and exploring the many parks and ancient dwellings found there.

Peterborough in Cambridgeshire is home to a 12th century cathedral, a museum of the bronze age and a steam railway. You can visit the Key or Cresset Theatre and Ferry Meadows Country Park offers good walking countryside.
