That depends largely on the four "C"s, carat, color, clarity, and cut. Certain more common colors such as white are common and therefore fairly inexpensive. Other colors such as champagne, golden, pink, green or Imperial command a much higher price than the others. Imperial topaz is roughly thirty to forty dollars per carat.
