A buffalo (or Indian head) nickel in good condition is worth around 35 cents. Of course, damaged ones would be significantly less. If you're lucky enough to have one that was made in certain years, however, it could be much more. You'll need to consult a coin dealer.

An Indian head nickel is worth at least 35 cents if it has a readable date on it. However, if it has sentimental value to you then don't sell it.

From what I found on a website, they are worth around $0.35 each unless they are damaged. For me, I would make them worth more than that because I love old coins and anything that is native. If I could price them, it would be worth $100 each.

The value of your nickels, or any coin in general, is dependent on rarity and condition. You need to know the dates and where they were minted. Condition is critical as collectors prefer the best specimens. Look online for grading guides. With date, mint, and grade you can look online to get an idea of value.
