What is the treatment for pneumonia?

The doctor said my daughter has it but he just gave her antibiotics.

If caught in time, antibiotics might be all that's needed. Sometimes short term oxygen is needed. Pneumonia is still deadly left untreated so if you suspect it, seek medical help.

Antibiotics are the correct treatment for pneumonia, specifically a penicillin drug or a mycin. Additionally, if there is a lot of congestion, Mucinex may be prescribed, as well as oxygen.

The main treatment for pneumonia is treated with pencillin, ampicillin-clavulanate ( Augmentin)and mostly ttreated iwth erythromycin. bacterial Pneumonia is treated with antibiotics like erythromycin and ofloxacin and azithromycin. You should drink plenty of liquids in case pneumonia, breathing excercise is recommended. Use therapeutic coughing and pain relievers and fever reducers such as aspirin.

If he didn't give you any care instructions, you seriously need to find a new doctor for your daughter. Pneumonia is a potentially fatal illness and it must be taken care of. Please, for your daughter's sake, call the doctor back and insist he tell you how to care for her.
