What is the thesis of "All The Pretty Horses?"

It's a novel.

Novels do not have theses. Novels have a plot structure, themes, setting, protagonist/antagonist and a host of characters, storylines and subplots. Academic papers have thesis. If you were, for example, writing a paper about the novel, you would propose a thesis for your paper that might, say, explore the ways in which McCarthy uses themes of nature throughout the story.

The theme of this coming of age novel is courage and loyalty. Novels don't have theses; rather, they have themes.
