Yes lots of answers, for the quietest shooting you shoot at under 1000 fps with subsonic rounds and a suppressor. A 22 can shoot up to 3000 fps, the navy rail gun in development can shoot at 8,270 fps.

The speed of a bullet depends on many things. Different guns use different sizes and weights of bullets, and even two bullets for the same gun may have different amounts of gunpowder in them which can alter the speed drastically. Some guns fire bullets at well below the speed of sound, while others far exceed it.

There is no one answer for this question. The speed of a bullet is determined by several things. The weight of the bullet, amount of powder, type of ammunition, and type of weapon effect the speed of a bullet. A handgun bullet usually travels slower than a rifle bullet. 'Cartridges of the World' is a good reference.

Depending upon the type of weapon and size, weight and shape of a bullet, a bullet typically is supersonic. Over Mach 1. That is why we here a loud 'sonic boom' when a gun or rifle is fired. The first plane to fly supersonic, the Bell X-1 was shaped like a bullet.
