The eggs will look like tiny white jelly beans - about 1/2" long. The nest itself is usually well camouflaged in the fork of tree branches, and will be cup-shaped, no more than 1.5" in diameter, and lined with soft materials like moss. Incubation is about 16 to 18 days.

Hummingbird eggs are less than half an inch in diameter. They are usually blue and around the size of a jelly bean, or smaller than a pinkie fingernail.
