A book in a series about a British sea captain and his adventures on the high seas in the early 1800s. Written by Patrick O'Brian, it's an enormously popular series.

"The Reverse of the Medal" was written by Patrick O'Brian and it is about Jack Aubrey. While on shore he is swindled into investing his money into some sort of bad deal that causes him to get exposed to criminal activities including treason. It is a mystery whether someone did this on purpose or not.
