What is the relationship between stress and memory loss?

Is that what the new game show is about?

Actually when under extreme stress clearer memories are made than when perfectly calm. These are called flash-bulb memories. While under stress your memory is sharpened but your ability to perform complicated tasks diminishes due to the social facilitation phenomenon.

There is a relationship between stress and memory loss. The more stressed you are when told something, the less likely you are to remember what was said to you. By the new game show, I assume you mean the one where the prizes fall off the tall building, stress such as this, would make you think much slower.
