A voodoo doll is usually associated with the intent to harm. The legend goes: you get someone's hair and stick it in the doll and that person becomes associated with the doll. Whatever you do to the doll, the person will feel it, like poking him with a pin.

Voodoo is a syncretic religion originating from Haiti, a Caribbean country. It is all about practicing mystical powers. To those who believe, gifts and rewards are brought upon. A Voodoo doll is a representation of a specific person. People talk to the Voodoo doll as if they are talking to the actual person. The doll acts with your wishes.
