Fuchsias need to be kept in a fairly warm area. If your climate is not temperate and this is an outdoor plant bring it indooors.

You need to bring the plant inside before frost starts. Keep your plant in a cool area, with a lot of sun exposure. You need to let your plant rest. This means decreasing how much and how often you water it. Don't let the soil get completely dry though. Do this until March, then prune it back.

Remove all the dead leaves, water your plant adequately, use artificial lights and put it in a warm area such as a shed or box.

If you are down south, you can just leave it alone. it will be fine for the winter. Fertilize it in the summer though.

First, you need to pull off all the old dead blooms from the plant. Keep inside, not to close to any heat source.
