you will need to pull off the head and replace the head gasket. if it is a v8 i would recommend that you replace the other side as well while you have it torn down that far.

The proper way to repair this is to remove the head and replace the gasket. The coolant needs to be drain and the engine disassembled before the head can be removed. The old gasket should be cleaned from the head, the new on installed, and then just reverse the process.

The only permanent fix for a blown head gasket is to pull off the head and install a new one. Nothing can be done to permanently reseal it once the old on has blown.

The only proper repair is to replace the gasket with a new one. This means the engine will have to be disassembled and head has to come off. Is may be something you want a shop to do but it can be done yourself if you have the tools and the knowledge.

The proper repair is to replace the head gasket, which involves disassembling the top end of the engine. It's a rather involved repair; you should take it to a dealership.

First drain coolants out then dissemble engine before removing head. old gasket needs to be cleaned from gasket. Put new one on and reverse instructions.
